The first item of clothing I purchased when I started working at GAG was an L.F.Markey boilersuit and it was probably the best retail therapy decision ever. Funnily enough, we just received a brand new range from the London based brand...
#1 - The history! The boilersuit has really done it all. Initially the boilersuit was the uniform of labourers in factories around the world. In the 1920's and 30's, members of the Bauhaus movement started wearing them. Thus, the humble boilersuit became as equally cool as it isn functional. From there we can jump to the groovy 70's baby, an iconic time for the rise of the boilersuit.
#2 - Comfort! The L.F. Markey boilersuits are insanely comfortable. Made from soft organic cotton twill. The perfect balance between soft but also structured. In winter is there really any other way you want to be except comfy?
#3 - EASY! When wearing a boilersuit, you don't even have to think about how to wear it. Put it on and bam!! All you need to think about in the morning is what shoes you want to wear my friend! And what socks. Please don't wear your sneakers without socks.
#4 - The signature waistband! I have owned a few boilersuits over the years but none have had a waistband like the L.F. Markey ones do. It's definitely a hack. The waistband gives so much shape and comfort. Louise Markey, designer of L.F. Markey previously worked at Burberry before starting her own brand, so she definitely knows her shit. She has perfected the boilersuit for the female form!
#5 - It's badass! Whenever I wear my boilersuit, I feel like a strong ass woman!

Returns & Refunds
Full price purchases placed online are eligible to be returned for an exchange, store credit, or refund providing your returns items fit our returns policy conditions outlined below if you contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order.
Contact must be made via [email protected] within 48 hours of receiving the goods advising us of return.
Returned Items must be unused, with the original tags & packaging still attached to the product. All footwear must be returned in the original shoe box, sunglasses and jewellery in the original case & box.
Shipping and handling is non refundable and returns are the customers responsibility until they reach Good as Gold Ltd.
