Back in 2020, in the midst of the first covid lockdown in New Zealand, the GAG team wanted to provide a positive outlet for our community during what we would all agree to be an incredibly stressful time.
The goal was and is once again this year very simple - to promote positivity through creativity, in the form of you guys designing a really rad t-shirt.
The cherry on top is that we get to help out some amazing charities while we’re at it, with the 3 winning designs being printed and sold in-store & online at Good As Gold, with all profits going towards a charity of their creators choice.
This time round, we’ve teamed up with our Auckland-based pals Doug’s™ , who have basically created the nicest plain white tee in the world - AKA your blank canvas! Not to mention they are also screenprinting and embroidery wizards, and have kindly donated their time and resources to print the winning designs. (Love you Doug’s™).
The Brief Was... To create an original design for a t-shirt that tells us what summer means to you. Interpret this however you like. Beers on the beach, sunset spliffs, $2 snags at Bunnings, surfing, skating, or you can go a little more conceptual - as long as your design evokes a sense of positivity to wear around this summer, we want to see it!

Free courier delivery when you spend over $99.00.
Purchases under $99.00 will be charged $5.00 for courier delivery.
We are dispatching orders daily / within 1-2 working days of order being placed.
We aim to deliver all NZ orders with a 1-3 day courier service ~ But during these wild Covid times deliveries may take 1 to 3 working days to be delivered.
We strongly recommend choosing "Local Pick-Up" / "In-Store Pick-Up" if you live in Wellington.

Returns & Refunds
Full price purchases placed online are eligible to be returned for an exchange, store credit, or refund providing your returns items fit our returns policy conditions outlined below if you contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order.
Contact must be made via [email protected] within 48 hours of receiving the goods advising us of return.
Returned Items must be unused, with the original tags & packaging still attached to the product. All footwear must be returned in the original shoe box, sunglasses and jewellery in the original case & box.
Shipping and handling is non refundable and returns are the customers responsibility until they reach Good as Gold Ltd.
Discounted items or Items purchased with special offer discount codes are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded.
