New Balance are quietly taking over the world we reckon. There is an immense amount of momentum coming from all sorts of different angles and we're liking it a lot. Luckily for us and you and just everyone, the Boston-based brand isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
Salehe Bembury should be a well-known name amongst the sneaker crowd at this point. An alumnus of team Yeezy and the footwear designer behind the game-changing Versace Chain Reaction, Salehe Bembury has gone above and beyond proving himself to be one of the most innovative and interesting designers currently in the game.
The 2002R sneaker features a burnt orange upper with fuschia/yellow/blue detailing and a combination of large-hole mesh (as seen on the original 2002 model), contrasting rough suede, and a two-toned rubber outsole. The shoe combines the upper of the New Balance 2002 and the outsole of the 860v2. Aside from the build of the canvas, the shoe is dressed in an array of bright hues as the Antelope Canyon is the source of inspiration for the collaboration.
“The collaboration was inspired by my recent attraction and time spent in nature. Since moving to the West Coast, I’ve really got to take advantage of all the National Parks in close proximity — Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park, Antelope Canyon, the Grand Canyon, Yosemite Park." This inspiration is also reflected on the shoebox, which features images of the canyon from its base as well as the namesake phrase “Peace be the Journey”

Returns & Refunds
Full price purchases placed online are eligible to be returned for an exchange, store credit, or refund providing your returns items fit our returns policy conditions outlined below if you contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order.
Contact must be made via [email protected] within 48 hours of receiving the goods advising us of return.
Returned Items must be unused, with the original tags & packaging still attached to the product. All footwear must be returned in the original shoe box, sunglasses and jewellery in the original case & box.
Shipping and handling is non refundable and returns are the customers responsibility until they reach Good as Gold Ltd.
