Hoka One One was Founded by Nicolas Mermoud and Jean-Luc Diard deep in The French Alps, the former Salomon employees wanted to create sneakers that made running on the most punishing terrains easier.

Gossip started to circulate on the new sneakers, and suddenly all the French Alp runners were after a pair. Intending to make running easier birthed the idea for Hoka One One's famed midsole. Often compared to having a ‘marshmallow’ softness and being twice the size of regular midsoles, the Hoka midsole lets you move freely and lightly.
