    - We can do nothing better for our planet than work with reusable waste. Recycled cotton is converted fabric waste that is reused to make new pieces.
    - Reusing materials preserve biodiversity and biological cycles. It keeps our soil undamaged and reduces significant energy and water waste.
    - Some designs require polyester in their composition, so we prefer to apply and reuse polyester from post-consumer recycled plastic.
    - The manufacturing of pieces from recycled polyester is an effective method to reduce the significant environmental footprint of plastic while providing beneficial and effective fabrics.

Paloma Wool was founded in 2014 by visual artist Paloma Lanna. She calls Paloma Wool a creative project rather than a commercial brand; encompassing fashion, art and communication.

    Creativity comes first.

"I had a vague idea of what I wanted to do with Paloma Wool. I didn’t want to create another traditional brand in the fashion industry. It was always important to me that Paloma Wool had a direct connection to art and photography. Next to design, it was equally important to me to produce locally and to think in terms of limited capsule editions rather than seasonal collections. And, looking back, I’m happy to say that even after ten years of Paloma Wool, I still hold on to my original vision." - Paloma Lanna

    Sustainability is vital.

There is a strong textile industry in Spain, so almost everything is produced locally. Paloma Wool has worked with suppliers consistently since the beginning. Paloma Wool has their own rule book when choosing fabrics to meet ethical standards. For example, they only produce leather goods to order which means there is no unnecessary waste. They also only use certain materials if they have been recycled. Sometimes this makes things harder because certain ideas can’t be carried out as planned. But they want to remain true to our principles.

    Inspired by friendship.

Paloma Wool is a team-work project that aims to make women feel good, particularly in their own bodies. That was the focus from the beginning when designing the clothes. Paloma says that this came naturally, by virtue of the fact that their team is mainly women who have a similar understanding of beauty.
