“From Prom To Paris,” a screenplay by Joe Freshgoods, follows a teenage romance through a cultural rite of passage and intimate conversations about self-discovery and exploration.

Inspired by Joe Freshgoods’ personal experiences and passion for history and culture, the footwear for this collection pays homage to a specific time, 2005. 

Compelling visuals illustrate themes of love, travel, and growth alongside Black Prom's historical genesis, the allure of escapism, and cultural relationships with color. 


This story takes us from the west side of Chicago to Paris, France, with love.
