The 'Aged Well' 992 is inspired by the first ever collaboration sneaker between New Balance and Joe Freshgoods. The 'No Emotions Are Emotions' 992, released in 2020, incorporated the rad effect of sunlight fading over time.
The 992 light pink colourway symbolises a shoe that has gradually weathered under the sun, representing the enduring relationship between New Balance and Joe Freshgoods. The gradient effect across the five shades also captures the long-term evolution of their collaboration.
