You're from New Zealand, but have been living in London for a while now. Tell us what you're loving the most about living there, and any recommendations you have if we ever come to visit.

The thing I love the most about living in London is the pure volume and variety of music and food. Consuming new flavours and sounds has been such an inspiring experience. Hmmmm...recommendations…my favourite music spots are Jumbi, ORMSIDE Projects,, Colour Factory, all black owned venues in London. Food! The Caribbean food at Wing Bay in Stoke Newington and Troy Bar in Hoxton, and zeee best 24 hour bagel spot - The Bagel House in Stoke Newington. There’s so many but those are definitely my go-tos!

Who is your biggest fashion style influence?

Hmmm...I feel like my style influence is forever changing, but to relate it to a person would definitely be highlighted by Aaliyah. It's less about what she is wearing and more so how she carries herself - effortless and cool always. That is true style to me.

Tell us about this mix! When and where do you envision it being listened to?

Hahah.. this mix is definitely a lil bit naughty..! I’ve curated a smooth and sensual downtempo mix called 'Late Night Request Line'. It's inspired by the late night phone line commercials from the 90s. I envision this mix being played late at night, in a true intimate setting surrounded with candles and incense.. to listen on ones own.. or with a special someone ;)

Where's your favourite place to dance?

In the grass, during sunset.. with them toe beans owt!!

What’s the best gig or performance that you’ve been to and why?

Ooooosh, that is a tricky one. My favourite performance recently has been Liv.e who I saw in 2022. Her sound is otherworldly and so unique.. all the while sitting perfectly within the cross-sections of R&b, jazz, soul and hip-hop. Her live band was insane too.. reminding me of the power and pleasure of live music performances. Hearing instruments live is always something else!!

Do you have any gigs coming up? When and where can we listen to your music, or see you perform for any of our audience that are in the UK?

You can find a few archives on my soundcloud and I run a monthly show called ‘Cherish’ on Balamii radio. In IRL, you can find me spinning every few weeks at the Perception Bar at the W Hotel and more gigs to be confirmed as the summer months reach closer (pray emoji).
