Aries is a clothing brand that embodies a unique and dynamic combination of luxury fashion and streetwear. Born out of an ongoing love for streetwear, trash culture and outsider art and illustration, Aries is subversive in attitude, punk in its approach but ambitious and commercial in product and potential.
With no outsider investment, Aries is completely independent and self-funded, which means they are unapologetically free to do whatever the fuck they want. Aries is a purely culture-driven brand and there's so much to love and admire about it.
As one of the few established female designers in streetwear fashion, Sofia has been breaking the rules since she left Central Saint Martins. You can see aspects of Sofia’s Central Saint Martin’s training and a fascination with hand dyeing, printing and hand finished garment construction throughout the Aries archive. Aries clothing is relaxed, but notably high quality. Some pieces are loud and chaotic in a good way, while others are more understated and have an "if you know, you know" quality to them.
Aries has been a truly genderless brand from the outset, with its own website categorising products as “Men”, “Women” and “Don’t Care”. When Aries was first created, the concept of genderless brands was pretty unknown. In many ways Sofia and Fergus were ahead of their time and the rest of the world is just catching up.
Over the years, Aries has collaborated with an array of iconic brands such as Vans, Suicoke, Diesel, Stussy and New Balance. We were lucky enough to release the New Balance X Aries 327 at GAG back in 2020.
From the offset both Sofia and Fergus knew that they needed a strong logo to represent the brand. Given his already impressive track record, Sofia was happy to let Fergus Purcell take the reigns when it came to creating a long-lasting and special identity for the brand. At the time, Fergus was interested in star signs, and as an Aries himself, he was drawn to how its associated traits aligned with their creative vision.
The Aries temple logo references iconic Italian luxury brand’s such as Versace and Moschino - as a nod to Sofia's Italian heritage. The majority of Aries clothing is actually produced in Italy to ensure the highest quality manufacturing.

Purchases under $99.00 will be charged $10.00 for courier delivery (excludes rural).
We are dispatching orders daily / within 1-2 working days of order being placed.
We aim to deliver all NZ orders with a 1-3 day courier service ~ But during these wild Covid times deliveries may take 1 to 3 working days to be delivered.

Returns & Refunds
Full price purchases placed online are eligible to be returned for an exchange, store credit, or refund providing your returns items fit our returns policy conditions outlined below if you contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order.
Contact must be made via [email protected] within 48 hours of receiving the goods advising us of return.
Returned Items must be unused, with the original tags & packaging still attached to the product. All footwear must be returned in the original shoe box, sunglasses and jewellery in the original case & box.
Shipping and handling is non refundable and returns are the customers responsibility until they reach Good as Gold Ltd.
Discounted items or Items purchased with special offer discount codes are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded.
