Originally released in 2001, the 991 was the new millennium’s first update to the 99X series, picking up where 1998’s 990v2 left off. Featuring a streamlined toebox shape, and a more daring use of overlay cutout sections, the 991 opted for a high-performance modern look. In keeping with the era’s preference for visible technology, the 991 also added clear window sections to the midsole'ssidewall pods. The JJJJound MADE in UK 991 offers a refined, timeless, and versatile take on this tech-driven, ABZORB cushioned silhouette, as a classic mesh upper is overlaid with luxurious suede and outfitted with an earth toned palette.
