Tell us about this mix. When and where do you envision it being listened to?

I've been really enjoying House Music recently so I thought it'd be fitting to throw together a bunch of my favourite tunes for the upcoming summer season! For this, I've kept the mixing slow and let the tunes progress. Mainly rolling deep house here with jazz and latin notes thrown in to keep the grooves fresh and evolving. I've thrown in some more recent house gems alongside some timeless classics - even got the Technics out to spin a few oldies on wax! This is a goodie for the early evenings with friends or getting the dusty Sundays going, hope you enjoy it!

Where's your favourite place to dance?

Gotta be Neck Of The Woods on Karangahape Road in Auckland! Big shoutout to the team that makes that place what it is and for providing my favourite venue in Auckland. Always top notch vibes at their space with some of the best sounds in town through the Ghost Sound System.

What’s the best gig you’ve been to and why?

It's hard to say, but to keep it on theme, the best house gig I've been to is Ian Pooley at Ink Bar earlier this year. Ink's a really special, unique place in Auckland that's always providing the best house and techno around, in a sweaty club filled with great people. Ian's a true legend of the genre and of course his set was outstanding, but the local OG Bevan Keys was on support and he played a really standout set. This mix of mine here is full of Ian's tunes!

Do you have any gigs coming up? When and where can we listen to your music or see you perform?

Twisted Frequency for New Years playing with the Support Your Local Collective is my next set lined up which will be followed by Kauri Quakes Festival. These sets will be more Dubstep and Techno orientated as that is my usual sound, so it was really fun to record this mix and share a different sound. There's also a really exciting Hosue gig with a proper legend on headline in the works coming up for Wellington so keen an eye out for that!

Who is your biggest fashion style influence?

I find my taste in music has heavily influenced my taste in fashion so I'm very big on late 90's early to 2000's UK Streetwear - Air Max 90's, baggy fits and functional garms type steez.
